The first afternoon in South Texas we went to the World Birding Center in South Padre. We spotted this bird, which I thought was a Great Egret (immature, because of it’s bill), but once it started hunting I knew it was the Reddish Egret (White morphs). Up until now I didn’t know that there was a “white morph” Reddish Egret.
Killdeer are around Texas all year long.

Yesterday afternoon around 3:15, I noticed something sitting on the recliner in the back yard. I moved slowly and got my camera. Knowing I could not open the door, I took a few photos thru the window. I know its not the optimum way, but I could have some kind of image. This Cooper’s hawk…
Hope everyone has nice day.
Hoping y’all have a great Father’s day.
